1. Services Provided
CraftyPen Design & Publishing provides professional Notary Public services (including Mobile and Remote Online Notarization), Book Coaching, and Author Consulting. By booking a service, you agree to the terms listed herein.
2. Notary Services & Compliance (North Carolina)
• Identification: Per NC Law, all signers must provide valid, government-issued photo identification. We reserve the right to refuse service if ID is expired, altered, or suspicious.
• Signer Readiness: Signers must be coherent, willing, and acting of their own free will.
• Remote Online Notarization (RON): Clients using RON must pass the Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) and Credential Analysis as required by the State of North Carolina.
3. Payment & Refunds
• Payments for services (including travel fees for mobile notary) are due at the time of booking or completion of service.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than [e.g., 2 hours] before an appointment may be subject to a non-refundable travel/convenience fee.
• Revenue received via brand partnerships or social media contributions is processed through our business accounting system.
4. Limitation of Liability
CraftyPen Design & Publishing is not an attorney and does not provide legal advice. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for the contents or legal validity of the documents being notarized.
